Here are some frequently asked questions about where we source our clothes, about our sizing and shipping policies.

Sizing
Chronophobia Collective sources items from all over the world. Sizing of garments might follow US, UK, European or Japanese standards. Therefore, we highly recommend that you reference our sizing guide. We also provide all measurements and size along all seam points as well as the narrowest and widest parts of the body to assist with precision as much as possible. 
 
For example, a dress will be measured from shoulder to shoulder where the arm meets the body; the length will be measured from the very top of the neck all the way down to the bottom of the hem. Waist is taken along one side of the narrowest part of the torso and the hip is taken along the widest. Please note that all measurements are taken in inches. 
 
True to Size
As the items are from various sources and countries, not all will be true to the size you might be accustomed to wearing. Again, we recommend that measurements be checked and verified by measuring yourself prior to purchasing any garment. 
 
S/M/L
Chronophobia Collective is size inclusive. As we are starting up, our sizes are limited to our individual curator wardrobes. We aim to have a variety of sizes but cannot guarantee availability due to the way we source. See something you like but not your size? Condition
We curate our items very carefully and disclose all defects or damage. We will not place anything on site that is not something we would wear as is. All clothing is described with full disclosure in the description. As a general idea, our definition of condition is listed in our Condition Chart.

Cleanliness
Chronophobia Collective wants you to be able to wear your item as soon as it arrives! We clean and check each item to ensure that it's quality is ready-to-wear. We are a smoke-free environment and ensure that each pre-loved item is shipped clean and fresh.
 
Fabric Scent
Chronophobia Collective cleans all garments at intake according to individual laundry instructions - be it hand wash, machine wash or dry clean. We then wrap each item in acid free tissue paper to prevent any smell from recurring. However, despite our strict standards, all vintage and preloved items may have a slight musty scent that persists due to storage, age, material or handling. 
 
Returns or Exchanges
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if purchased NWT), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We do not accept returns on the following items: AS IS, On Sale ("Time to go"), and Bathing Suits.

Please allow 15 business days from receipt of returned item for us to process returns and issue store credit. Read our Returns Policy for complete details and instructions. 
 
Shipping Time
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days of purchase. Shipping times depends on location. Chronophobia Collective offers free standard shipping costs and should reach you within 5 business days. If you require Express or Priority Shipping, that is available as an add-on shipping cost to you at checkout. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Read our Shipping Policy for complete details.

Lost Item
If an item is lost in shipment please let us know as soon as possible so that we may begin an investigation with the shipping carrier. Please reach out within 10 days of expected delivery. When we commence an investigation to locate the package, it may take up to 25 business days to complete. If the package cannot be delivered, we will offer you store credit for the full purchase amount. Please ensure that the shipping address is correct, accurate and complete. We are not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect address information provided by the customer. 
 
Special Order or Commissions
If you like our style but don't see exactly what you're looking for - reach out! We have several curators in a variety of cities who can keep an eye out for something special. Please give us at least 6 weeks to source the item for you with a detailed description of what you're dreaming about! Send us a Special Order query.
